Girls in Action (GAs) is a missions organization for girls in grades 1 thru 6. In GA meetings, girls learn all about missionaries and what they do.

They pray for missionaries and their work and learn how to help other people. They study about people around the world and do projects to earn money to support these missionaries so they can tell others about Jesus.

GA Motto: "Go Forward!"

GA Pledge: "As a GA, I will do my best to live a missions lifestyle that honors God by learning about missions, praying for missions, giving to missions, doing missions and participating in the work of the church."

GA Scripture Verse: "Give thanks to the Lord. Worship him. Tell the nations what he has done. Announce how honored he is" (Isaiah 12:4 NIrV).

GA Lifestyle Verse: "The Lord has shown you what is good. He has told you what he requires of you. You must treat people fairly. You must love others faithfully. And you must be very careful to live the way your God wants you to" (Micah 6:8 NIrV).

Mission Friends

Birth - 2 yrs.old: April Burgess, Jenny Burgess, & Dawn Ramey

2-5 yrs.old: Sherri Smith & Melissa Singleton

Mission Friends meets on regular missions night which is Wednesday after the first Sunday of each month. It is the church missions organization of WMU for preschoolers ages birth through kindergarten. The primary objective of Mission Friends is to provide a strong foundation for preschoolers in a Christian and missions lifestyle.

"Mission Friends provides developmentally appropriate missions learning experiences to help preschoolers move from a self-centered focus to a focus on others, to become aware that not everyone knows about God's love, and to understand ways they can help others know about this good news! Preschoolers are involved in learning, praying, giving, and doing missions. Preschoolers learn of missions work in North America and throughout the world. Each month, preschoolers learn about a missionary in a different place.

Other Mission Friends activities are: Hands-on projects, sensory activities, Bible thoughts, cultural learning activities, and mission stories."
