Music Ministry

Director: Vonda Manley Welcome to the Music Ministry of Earle’s Grove Baptist Church.  Our purpose is to worship and praise God in all that we do.  The music ministry is designed to offer every age an opportunity to use their musical gifts to worship God through the use of their voices, instruments, or through interpretive movement.  Whether you are a trained musician or just like to make a ‘joyful noise’, we invite you to check us out.  “It is good to praise the LORD, to sing praise to Your name, Most High.” Psalm 92:1

CHILDREN’S CHOIR – Ages 4 – 6^th Grade

The children’s choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 6:30.  The children sing at various times throughout the school year during the evening worship service.  They also do musical performances at least twice a year.

YOUTH VOICES OF PRAISE – Grades 7 and up

This choir meets every Sunday at 6 pm for rehearsal.  No special musical abilities required—just a heart full of love for God and a love of music.  They sing during the evening worship service.

ADULT CHOIR

The adult choir rehearses on Wednesday at 7:45.  They sing during the Sunday morning worship service.  They also do special performances throughout the year for revivals, Easter, and Christmas.

ORCHESTRA – 7^TH Grade and Up

The orchestra meets every Sunday at 5:30 for rehearsal.  The orchestra consists of stringed, brass or wind instruments.  Our goal is to play during a service once a month.  Sometimes we succeed, and sometimes we don’t.  However, the desire to play is there!!!

We also offer opportunities for soloists, duets, trios, quartets, and ensembles to sing at every opportunity
