YOUTH PASTOR |
|
McKensey Campbell was born July 1, 1984
to Steve & Renee' Campbell. McKensey grew up in the Earle's Grove
Community and graduated from West Oak High School in 2002. Mac
attended Fruitland Baptist Bible College and graduated in 2005 with
a degree in Pastoral Ministries.
He married Sandra Stone on June 10,
2006. Mac and Sandra live in Fair Play, SC, just down the road from
the church.
Mac began his duties as Children's &
Youth Minister at Earle's Grove Baptist Church on May 1, 2006 and
when he is not at the church, he works for the family business,
Campbell's Masonry. Mac is a self-proclaimed kid at heart and his
favorite people to be around (except for his wife, Sandra) are the
youth and children at Earle's Grove.
Some activities the youth have enjoyed
under Mac's leadership are: Samsonite-car bashing night, Team
Ventures, Challenge 6:33, CaroWinds trip, Casting Crowns concert,
Jail Break Youth Crusade at West Oak H/S, Fifth quarters after home
football games, Bible Study on the book of James. The youth have
formed a youth praise band called
Mercy Falling and the
members are: Daniel Langdale, Heath Manley, Jake Broome, and Sandra
Campbell.
The younger children have enjoyed Team
Venture climbing tower, church-wide movie night, and guest speakers.
Some activities being planned for the
coming months are: Extreme Conference in Tennessee, a trip to the
Mall of Georgia, and a party at Christmas, for the youth. They will
soon begin a Bible study on True Religion of the One Way Street
where they will be looking at other religions and discovering why
there is only One True Way!
A fall festival, puppet night and
Upward's Sports ministry are being planned for the children.
